KSAZ TV – Electronic News Gathering (ENG) Editor/Photographer

Electronic news gathering position that requires both editing and/or videography.  Applicant must possess basic photography, lighting, audio and computer skills.  Understanding of different camera/media formats required.  Live ENG remote experience, including ENG truck operation and field editing a plus.  At least one year on-the-street TV news ENG/Videography experience required.  Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced news environment. Candidate should possess a working knowledge of AVID Newscutter, AVID Adrenaline, or comparable non-linear editing platforms.  Understanding of graphics and high-production value elements required.  Familiarity with AVID Interplay, NRCS, Capture Manager, AVID Access and iNews a plus.  Must be flexible with scheduling; weekends, holidays, travel and varied hours required.  Lift/carry 50lbs of equipment.  Must be able to drive, have proof of insurance, obtain a valid AZ driver's license and maintain a clean MVR.  HS diploma required, college degree preferred.  Qualified applicants must submit resume and DVD or web link of recent work. KSAZ TV – GA Reporter

Research, write, produce and report stories, both live and taped, for newscasts & special stories.  Work w/ producers, editors, & photographers to create and produce news stories & investigations.  Local/national travel, weekends, holidays and varied hours req.  College deg. req. 2 years exp. broadcast TV reporting on top 55 market req.  Must have excellent live reporting, writing, and storytelling skills.  Work accurately/efficiently w/in time constraints. Proficiency w/ newsroom computers and related software req. AZ driver's license & MVR req. Must be able to drive. Candidates must submit resume and tape. Ref  posting source & #2230
