KSAZ TV – News Producer
Produces, or assist with production of, newscasts including story conception and research, content selection, production execution, newscast timing, writing, booking guests and interviews. Field produces spot news stories, planned news events, anchor reports and other outside newscast programming. Weekends, holidays, and overtime hours req. Minimum 1-year exp in a TV news dept. Working knowledge of newsroom computers, broadcast satellites and other remote transmission apparatus. Ability to work well under specific time constraints. KSAZ TV – Assignment Editor
Responsible for gathering story info from various news sources and determining the newsworthiness. Making decisions on what stories to cover and assigning/dispatching the crews. Keep news staff apprised of breaking news and changes in assignments. Make beat check calls to law enforcement and other governmental agencies. Communicate with affiliates to ensure continuity in coverage. 1 year exp in TV news, including assignment desk exp. Must be well organized and able to manage multiple projects. Must demonstrate outstanding news judgment and good news writing skills. Must be able to deal effectively with people. Must be able to work well in a fast paced environment. KSAZ/KUTP TV – Sales Assistant
Provide admin support to the Sales management staff and Account Executives. Duties incl. writing and checking orders, typesetting proposals, answering phones, faxing, filing. maintaining organizational systems, general office requirements, assisting with special projects. Varied hours and overtime required. Strong written/oral comm skills req. Strong PC, typing and 10-key skills. Proficiency w/ Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software. Requires excellent attention to detail, and accuracy. Must be able to interact professionally with a variety of people and work efficiently and courteously w/ station personnel. 1 yr exp. in admin position req. HS diploma or equivalent req. KSAZ TV – Financial Analyst
Resp include month end close, account reconciliation & analysis, financial reporting & budget prep. 4 yr deg w/Accounting or Finance emphasis or equivalent exp required. Requires 1-3 yrs financial analyst exp, highly proficient in Excel, able to multi task with high attention to detail, must meet deadlines in a changing environment, strong communication & analytical skills. KSAZ TV – Production Operator
Required to operate studio cameras during newscasts. Prior to newscast will run graphic requests and edited tapes to control room. Will assist in set construction and lighting. May operate Chyron and still store. At least 1 year recent commercial TV exp req. Must be a skilled camera operator. Exp with other production equipment pref. HS diploma (or equivalent) req.
